"Transform your life using brain science" -

How INT can help you

  • I will do an initial neuroanalysis assessment and build a plan around your initial assessment that includes prioritising and addressing your main concern (trauma, stress, burnout, crisis). Your plan will also include covering any other concerns you have, for example, family, professional and/or relationships, etc.

INT is a prioritised process, and is specifically tailored to what you need and want. I will work alongside you every step of the way.

Don’t worry, there is absolutely no obligation to lock yourself into anything!

If after the first session you feel like it isn’t for you, that is 100% ok!

INT is designed to help you flow fluidly through the process in YOUR time frame and in a way that allows your brain and nervous system to adapt and learn in do-able building blocks.

Each session will go for one hour and will consist of blending brain education with structured coaching.

This approach is used so you learn WHY trauma, stress, burnout and crisis occurs and HOW to overcome and prevent it in the future. Without knowing why it happens, it is hard to recognise and prevent reoccurrence and feeling in control of this process is paramount for your brain balance.

Working one on one with you, I will coach you through this comprehensive and tailored process slowly rewire your brain.

  • In-person sessions
These sessions are held in my Mundaring office. In-person sessions offer you the added bonus of having Herx i your session. Herx is NFS’s trauma trained service dog. (*please note, when booking, you have the option of not having Herx in your session if you prefer).
    Virtual sessions
These sessions are available for individuals who are unable to attend in-person sessions. They are really useful and helpful for people who would like to have sessions with me but maybe live too far, feel distressed about in-person sessions to start with, struggle with public settings, struggle with hypervigilance, etc. These sessions have the added bonus of being recorded (with your permission) to help you retain what you learn in your session.

    INT – Introspective Neuroprocessing Training

INT is a two-phase, neuroscience and skills-based process that helps calm the overloaded nervous system, rebuild emotional capacity, and improve how you think, feel, and communicate — especially under stress.

    Why two phases?

Because the brain needs to feel regulated before it can change.
INT works with your nervous system, not against it.

    Phase 1: Regulation & Reset

    Goal:
To help your nervous system settle so your brain can think, feel, and respond more clearly.

When the nervous system is overloaded, change doesn’t stick, unless it’s fear based. Phase 1 focuses on reducing your arousal baseline and restoring functional balance.

    You’ll learn how to:

    • Recognise your nervous system state (Settled, Activated, Flooded)

    • Notice emotions clearly — without analysing or judging them

    • Understand how your brain reacts to feeling unsafe, uncertain, or unconsidered

    • Use simple, practical tools to calm your system in real time

    • Reduce internal and external stressors that keep you stuck in survival mode

    What this gives you:

    • A calmer baseline nervous system

    • More emotional stability and capacity

    • Better focus, energy, and clarity

    • Reliable access to reflective, grounded thinking

    • A safe foundation for lasting change

Phase 2: Rebuilding Capacity & Communication

    Goal:
Strengthen new, healthier brain pathways and build flexibility in how you think, feel, and respond.

Once regulation is in place, the brain becomes ready for deeper learning and long-term change.

    You’ll learn how to:

    • Observe thoughts and emotions without being controlled by them

    • Identify old stress patterns and survival responses

    • Build new neural pathways that support calm, choice, and resilience

    • Respond more flexibly under pressure

    • Apply these skills in relationships, work, and everyday life

    What this gives you:

    • Stronger self-regulation in challenging moments

    • Less emotional reactivity and mental rigidity

    • A greater sense of control and internal safety

    • Improved decision-making, focus, and resilience

    • Change that lasts — not just short-term coping

    The INT approach

    1. Regulate first to restore capacity

    2. Then rebuild to create flexibility and control

INT respects the brain’s natural order — helping your nervous system feel safe enough to change before asking it to do so.

  • The cost of each session is $150

Unfortunately, at this stage, neuroscience-focused trauma and stress intervention is not yet covered by Medicare or private health cover.

Neurofocused Solutions is a private and independent service.
This does mean that there is an out of pocket expense for you.

NFS maintains its independence for you. Because it’s out of your pocket and not your organisation’s, NFS has no obligations to report to anyone within your organisation. NFS’s obligation is to YOU and you alone!
We strongly believe that this is one of the most important things to consider when seeking help for mental health benefits.

This way, there are no concerns around the potential impact on your work role, promotions, rank, judgements or relationships.

Your mental and emotional health must be prioritised as confidential and private unless YOU decide to share it. It has to be YOUR choice, not someone else’s.

There is absolutely no obligation to commit ongoingly if you feel that INT doesn’t work for you.

**If you are comfortable with your organisation knowing about your neurotherapy training, and would like to see if your organisation would be happy to financially contribute to your process, please feel free to discuss this with me so I can work with you to put a proposal in place for your management/union/health and wellbeing team.
